There was a father and his daughter, Mary. They were very poor. They didn’t have much money but they live together happily. Mary was 4 years old. She always makes everyone smile and she is also smiles every day, so everyone likes her. She was such a pretty girl. She likes making someone happily. She has a very nice personality.
One father’s birthday, Mary really wanted to give present for her father, but she has no money. She was thinking about what she should give him. “What can I do for him?” She was thinking whole day. Finally, she got a good idea. Then, she looked for paper, box, pen, scissor and so on. Mary used a roll of gold paper to wrap a box to gift her father.
She wrapped it as carefully as she could. However, Mary was only 4 years old and she couldn’t cut straight with the scissors. She did her best but the box did not look very good. The next day was her father’s birthday. Mary gave the golden box to her father. “This is for you daddy.” She said. Then her father opened the box. He found that there were nothing in it. “Mary!” he said. “There is nothing in this box. You shouldn’t waste expensive paper for silly things like this!! ”Mary looked up to him with tears welled up in her eyes and she said “Oh daddy, it’s not empty, I put kisses into the box. There are all for you, daddy.” The father cried. After that her father never felt sad.
